Abhishek Kapoor scored super hits with Rock On and Kai Po Che which ended up winning the hearts of the audience for their sensitive concept and sensible narration.

He roped in Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif to play the lead roles in his next film which has been titled as Fitoor. The movie is an adaptation of Charles Dicken’s novel Great Expectations. The movie has been made on a budget of Rs 70 crores and the entire film has been shot in Kashmir. Siddarth Roy Kapoor produced the film on UTV Motion Pictures.

Fitoor trailer caught everyone’s attention and the poetic narration raised the expectations of the film. The movie released all over on February 12th across the world and it collected Rs 3.61 crores on its opening day.

The collections have been quite poor over the weekend and the collections dipped down gradually during the weekdays. Fitoor collected Rs 16.80 crores in five days of its box-office run.
