Game of Thrones season 6: Richard E. Grant Roped In For Undisclosed Role

Game of Thrones season 6: The makers of one of the most loved TV shows across the globe, GOT has roped in the Doctor Who star Richard E. Grant. However, the role which he will essay still remains undisclosed.

The “Withnail and I” fame star has joined the league of very famous British actors  who have been recently started working for the hit HBO series, including Jonathan Pryce and Ian McShane.

GOT has already called in two “Downton Abbey” stars to star in it. So, including Grant, the GOT has got three stars from the show. Richard E. Grant used to play art historian Simon Bricker in Downton. He has recently been featured in “Doctor Who” as Ian Margrove and Jasper in “Girls” for which he received appreciations.

The talent agency of Richard E. Grant made a quick move in entering and then removing the show from his online resume. According to the buzz and speculations, he will be featured in various episodes.

Meanwhile, a drone has captured some video of the locations which will be used in the upcoming season of the series.

Game of Thrones season 6 star cast includes “UnREAL” actor Freddie Stroma as Dickon Tarly, “Borgen” star Pilou Asbæk as Euron Greyjoy, Ian McShane in an unspecified role and Max von Sydow as the Three-Eyed Raven.

Ian McShane will get little screen time, but his character will be of key importance as stated by Entertainment Weekly. The show may have two more seasons after this upcoming one. Jon Snow may be alive.

“Game of Thrones” season 6 is slated to air on HBO in April of 2016.
