Sunny received a huge relief with the film and he then came up with the sequel which failed to make much impact at the ticket window. He then came up with several films which could not bring him back the success.
Sunny at this time has taken the decision to come up with the sequel of his super hit movie Ghayal which released in 1990. Sunny also decided to direct the sequel and he titled the movie as Ghayal Once Again. He worked on the script for almost more than a year and he made sure that the film had all the needed ingredients in the right amounts.
The film is about a murder mystery which will be decoded by the actor with the support of some youngsters. Sunny Deol, Om Puri, Shivam Patel, Rishab Arora, Aanchal Munjal, Soha Ali Khan and Diana Khan played the lead roles in the movie.
Ghayal Once Again released all over on February 5th and the movie received the decent response from the audience. Though the word of mouth has been mixed, the collections have been quite strong all over. The movie minted Rs 36.35 crores in 12 days of its box-office run.
