Hrithik Roshan Signs a South Film: Changes the Script: Bollywood Superstar Hrithik Roshan is one of the most wanted actors in Bollywood and many top directors are waiting to direct him. This Superhero scored massive hits recently with Krrish 3 and Bang Bang. He has been quite selective with his future projects as he has a huge fan base all over. Hrithik is currently shooting for his upcoming film which has been titled as Mohenjo Daro. (watch: Airlift trailer.)



Top filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker is directing this periodic drama which has been made on a massive budget of Rs 210 crores. Pooja Hegde is playing the heroine and the shoot of Mohenjo Daro is progressing in South Africa. Ashutosh Gowariker is producing the movie on Ashutosh Gowariker Productions.

South Indian Superstar Mahesh Babu failed to entertain the audience in the recent times and couple of movies Aagadu, 1-Nenokkadine ended as the biggest disasters in his career. At this time, he came up with Srimanthudu which ended as the biggest hit in his career.

Mirchi fame Koratala Siva directed the movie which conveyed a strong social message of village adoption. Many movie actors, celebrities and politicians stepped forward and adopted villages after the release of Srimanthudu. Sruthi Haasan played the female lead in the movie and the chemistry between Mahesh, Sruthi is said to be an additional asset for Srimanthudu.

The movie has been made on a budget of Rs 40 crores and the film minted Rs 85 crores in its final run which is huge among Mahesh’s films. Srimanthudu is the second highest Telugu grossed movie after Baahubali: The Beginning. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and the audio of the movie is a huge hit.

Mythri Movie Makers produced the movie and Hrithik has been roped in to play the lead role in the Bollywood remake. Though initially Varun Dhawan has been considered for the film, Varun walked out as he thought that it’s too early to do such characters.

Sources say that Hrithik watched the complete movie recently and suggested some changes. He felt that the climax of the film has to be changed and it was not that powerful. Koratala Siva who directed the original will direct the Hindi version once Hrithik completes his work for Mohenjo Daro.

Eros International who distributed the Telugu version acquired the rights for the remake and they will produce the movie on a high budget. Hrithik has been impressed with the script as well as with the director. Koratala Siva will direct NTR in his next film Janatha Garage which will start shooting from January next year.
