Story
Satyam (Mohan Lal) is the savior for all who keeps helping everyone under the name of JanathaGarage. There is another guy named Anand (Jr. NTR) who is a nature lover from childhood and ready to go any extent in order to save and protect the environment. On one day, Anand accidently came across Satyam and Janatha Gang members during a fight. During their faceoff, Satyam liked Anand’s mission and then he requested him to leave everything behind and join him to save poor. Did Anand join JanathaGarage? The rest forms the crux of the story.

Plus Points:
Mohan Lal is the central character in the whole flick. The legendary actor makes the film watchable as he has superbly deployed his role. The credit for casting Mohanlal goes to the director. Jr. NTR has also played his role amazingly as he stayed true to his character throughout the movie. He is awesome in the second half.
The first 15 minutes of the second half are quite intense due to fight scenes between Mohan Lal and Jr NTR. They both raised the level of the production. Kajal has done an item number very well. Moreover, the antagonist Sachin Khedekar has done justice to his role.

Actresses Samantha and Nithya Menen had nothing much and special to do. It seemed that they were wasted completely. They just come for the songs and had subtle roles to play. The film was kinda slow as the director has given more than the required time to establish the storyline.
Utilizing protagonists could have been done with more clarity. The climax was outdated and stretched. Many actors wasted for small and simple roles. The first half is dull and hardly have anything special. The script could be improved. At some places, the duo Jr NTR-Mohan Lal couldn’t save it.

Devi Sri Prasad has given beautiful music. Background score in the second half is superb. The film has been produced with good production values. Camera work and dialogues are good. Editing is little above average and could have been improved by trimming the film by at least 15 minutes.
The direction is fine. He took enough time to establish the story so this movie can catch steam. And it does so, but in the second half. However, at some points, the story is predictable, and the climax is simple.

Verdict
JG is not a regular entertainer of Tollywood film industry. It is a character driven film based on high and serious emotions. Both Mohanlal and Jr NTR have performed superb, but Mohanlal’s performance was the best. The audience would like it more.
