Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain Bags 4 International Awards: Kamal Haasan is one of the most sought actors of Indian cinema and the viewers have not been bored with the actor though he has been entertaining them from the past 40 years. He has slowed down in his career and he never concentrated on commercial films instead he preferred experiments out of which most of them ended to receive critical acclaim. Kamal is an actor, writer, singer, director and producer currently and is busy working for Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films.

He has recently signed multiple movies and he managed to release three films this year. First came Uttama Villan which has been helmed by Ramesh Aravind in which Kamal played the role of a stage actor. Though his performance along with the content of the film received critical acclaim, the movie ended as a debacle in his career leaving the makers in financial debts.

Pooja Kumar, Nassar, and Andrea essayed the other important roles in the movie. The movie has been selected and screened in various International film festivals which impressed the critics.

Uttama Villan has been selected for Los Angeles International Film Festival and the film has impressed the critics over there. The film bagged four awards for its technical brilliance and director Ramesh Aravind expressed his happiness for the happenings there. Uttama Villan grabbed in awards for Best Film, Best Actor and Best Sound Design along with the Best Music Composer.  (also: Kumar 21F censor board.)

Kamal Haasan has been overwhelmed with the response from the critics and he thanked everyone for such a great honor. He revealed that they have done the honest film, but the audience were not impressed with the content of the film as it has been slow.

Kamal’s recent movie Papanasam is a huge hit which released in Tamil along. The movie is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam and it has been directed by Jeethu Joseph who directed the original version. Gauthami played the female lead in the movie and he has come up with Thoonga Vaanam which released on the eve of Diwali.

This intense thriller has been directed by Rajesh M Selva, who has been a long time associate of Kamal in his direction department. Trisha, Prakash Raj, Sampath Raj and Madhu Shalini played the other prominent roles in Thoonga Vaanam.

The movie has been declared as a super hit for its stuffing content and its gripping narration. Kamal penned the screenplay of the film which has been shot in 34 working days and during the nights. Kamal played a cop in the movie who is the head of Narcotics Department.

Kamal Haasan’s Raajkamal Films International produced the movie and the Telugu version Cheekati Raajyam is gearing up for release on November 20th all over. Kamal is currently busy promoting the movie in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
