Kapoor and Sons Movie Review and Rating: Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan

Kapoor and Sons 2nd Week Box Office Collections

Kapoor and Sons Movie Review Rating: Today, the film hit theaters. The film is all about Kapoor family who comes to reunion stage and faces various difficulties after growing up. The film highlights the problem faced by joint families in today’s world. Although at some points, the movie is yet far away from reality.

Director Shakun Batra has directed some videos/talkies earlier also, which includes Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na (2008) and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012). His previous work had a touch of sensibility which was loved by the audience at large. Being popular in youth, he is best in catching the nerve to know what people likes.’

Kapoor and Sons Movie Review

Keeping intimation scenes limited in the film. It could be watched by an average mature Indian Family together or as a couple as well. The cuteness of Alia Bhatt and calmness of Sidharth Malhotra is spectacular. (check: Chiranjeevi’s Daughter Wedding.)

Chemistry of Sid and Alia is successful since ‘Student of the year’ movie; the same could see in this film with a twist of Fawad Khan. Ratna Pathak could be observed very much similar as in her earlier role in ‘Khoobsurat,’ she is modern age grandma of Bollywood now.

The story of ‘Kapoor & Sons’ is basically of two brothers who came again under the same roof after a long gap because their grandpa had a heart attack. Mr. Kapoor aka Grandpa aka Rishi Kapoor has a wish to reunite his family removing all the gaps.

But his last wish seems not to be so easy in doing as the family has some untold secrets which reveal after the get-together. The story does fabulously composed and well performed by the actors not leaving the second half predictable.

Overall the whole movie experience with KaS is a great watch for a time pass movie. Nothing much incredible but still an entertaining watch this weekend. Watching this film worths every penny.

If you have loved Jane Tu… Ya Janne Na (2008) or Ekk Main Or Ek Tu (2012), you’re most probably going to love this also.

Kapoor and Sons Rating

We are giving KaS, 3/5 Stars as there was a lot of scope for development. The movie could be with much more fiction, not suitable for every audience but it’s going to be a definite hit.
