Kapoor and Sons Eight Days (8 Days) Box Office Collections: Bollywood audience has been quite particular about the film’s content and the movies that have been high on content made up huge money across the world. Many young actors have been busy finalizing scripts that are unique and those that will impress the audience big time.



Siddarth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt made their Bollywood debut with Student of the Year in the direction of Karan Johar, who happened to be their mentor. Kapoor & Sons collected Rs 46.93 crores in its first week across the country. The overseas collections too have been quite active, and Kapoor & Sons collected Rs 7.2 crores on its eighth day, and the collections have been quite strong as it was a holiday. Kapoor & Sons collected Rs 54.13 crores in eight days of its run. Karan Johar produced the movie on Dharma Productions banner.

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has been on the hunt for Indian films that make him a top star in less span of time, and he has been thoroughly impressed with the script narrated by Shakun Batra, who has been working with Karan Johar from the past few years. He earlier directed Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu starring Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan but the movie failed to impress the audience.

It was his second attempt and the movie has been titled as Kapoor & Sons which is said to be an exciting family entertainer. The theatrical trailer of the film pinned huge hopes on the film and raised the curiosity among the audience.

Rishi Kapoor has been roped in to play the senior Kapoor in the movie and the whole story revolves around him. Rajat Kapoor and Ratna Pathak played the parents of Siddarth Malhotra, and Fawad Khan, who are brothers and they fall in love with Alia Bhatt in the film.

Kapoor & Sons released all over on March 18th, and the movie has been already declared as a blockbuster. The movie minted Rs 26.75 crores in its first weekend, and the collections stayed high enough even during the weekdays.
