Comedian Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao Passed Away at 69

Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao Dies: Tollywood has been witnessing many sudden demises whether it may be actors or comedians or technicians. When Telugu Film Industry has been recovering from back to back shocks, a new shock has arrived yesterday with the sudden demise of comedian Kondavalasa Lakshman Rao. He shot fame with Avunu Vallu Iddaru Istapaddaru in the direction of Vamsi which marked the debut of the actor in Tollywood. Kondavalasa’s character received critical acclaim all over and his dialogue ‘Aithe Ok’ is now quite popular. His versatile accent and unique way of dialogue delivery received exceptional response all over.

Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao Dies

He has done more than 300 films in his career in just 12 years which is quite surprising. He was a completely down to earth person and he respected everyone during his film career. Kondavalasa leads a purely simple life and he has been recently admitted in a private hospital due to illness few days ago. He has been recovering well, but suddenly his health has become worse after which he breathed his last yesterday night at 10:00 PM in KIMS, Hyderabad. (watch: Justin Bieber I’ll Show You.)

Kondavalasa was born on August 10th 1946 in Srikakulam near Vishakapatnam. Due to his interest in acting, he started his career as a stage artist. He performed in various stage shows and dramas which were more than 1000 in total. Director Vamsi gave him an opportunity in Avunu Vallu Istapaddaaru which changed his film career.

The whole Tollywood has been left in shock with the sudden demise of their famous comedian. Some of his best works include Avunu Vallu Iddaru Istapaddaaru, Kabaddi Kabaddi, Satyam, Andarivaadu, Andala Ramudu, Sidhu from Srikakulam and Adhurs. The final rites will be performed tomorrow in Hyderabad and his body will be placed in Film Chamber today for a public visit.
