It is one of the rare movies which has come up with such a rare and sensitive topic and have presented with smoothness. One example of dramatic acting and plot comes when a dull Balan confronts the suspect and his team who are involved in the cover up work of a crime. It is appreciable.

She doesn’t hold back and fight and defeats them. Instead of shying and brushing sensitive issues under the carpet, she addresses them. Her vulnerability and quiet strength are the highlights.

Kahaani 2 Review

The national award winner, Vidya portrays the character of a mother, a accused on the run. She is considered to be a murderer and kidnapper of a minor. She has performed brilliantly. She has beautifully portrayed the fear, angst, and protectiveness of a mother for her daughter.

Her performance leaves no doubt in the minds of audiences. She has all the charisma and gravitas to keep everyone hooked until the last second.

However, some of the twists are predictable in the second half of the film. But, they aren’t much noticeable due to the fantastic performances.

Arjun Rampal has thoroughly engaged the audience with his performance as a middle-level police officer. He is trying to catch Balan. He has played out his quest to find out the truth in a very handsome manner.

However, the coincidence in the film seems to be hard to believe.

But, it won’t stop audiences from watching it again and again. They will enjoy this dark thriller without any doubt.

Moreover, the people will be attracted towards the ability of director Ghosh in bringing up the social environment of middle-class families in West Bengal.
