All of these four people come from middle class households. Thus they face some of the common struggles and experiences. All these stories run in parallel. The audience is left to guess their ends. It forms the crux of the overall story.

Manamantha story is one of the best working pillars. It worked very well, and the expertise of the director are really appreciable. The star performances by Mohanlal and Gouthami are appreciated. These have been the strengths of the film especially the acting of Mohanlal who lives his character. It gave more depth to his character as he dubbed by learning Telugu.

Gouthami did justice with her character. Viswant and Ramya are new to acting career and have given their best input. Supporting actors like Urvasi (who played a friend of Gayatri). He portrayed the comic role with greedy nature. Anisha Ambrose as the love interest of Abhiram was good.

The emotional dialogues written by Ravichandra Teja were good. The cameo of Gollapudi will be remembered. He returned after a long break. Technical departments delivered a sound output to give the audience a good experience.

Overall, Manamantha is a family drama film with a slow pace. It involves audience to get deep into the story. As the climax approaches, it gives the thrill and a small relief. Family drama fans will surely love it.

The overall credit goes to director Yeleti, Mohanlal, and Gouthami for carrying out the film. Emotional people will be drawn with it.

  1. Mohanlal plays a middle-class man, who works as an assistant manager in a supermarket. The movie, which is the debut Telugu project of the superstar, marks his reunion with “His Highness Abdulla” heroine Gauthami after 26 years. Good one. Except the average screenplay , bit rough edits and typical Telugu drama it was a good experience for me
