Power Couple Winner 2016: The season one of the Indian reality TV show in which couples participate and prove their compatibility through difficult challenges so as to finally emerge as the winners have been completed on March 5. After many challenges and tasks, finally, the winner couple has been announced. The PC 1 was hosted by celebrity couple Malaika Arora Khan and Arbaaz Khan and is the Indian adaptation of the Israeli television show with the same name. The season was shot in Goa and a total of 10 celeb couples participated in it.

3 couples were finalized for the finale episode. They are namely – Naved Jafri-Sayeeda Jafri, Shawar Ali-Marcela Ayesha, and Dina-Vidhu Dara Singh. After the difficult challenges, Naved-Sayeeda were declared as the winner of the show. (check: India’s Best Dramebaaz Winner
After a few episodes since its start, the winning couple was eliminated. Then, it was re-introduced as a wild card entry. After making their comeback, both of them gave really tough competition to other contestants and successfully made their place in the grand finale with the other two couples.
Tellychakkar reported that Marcelo and Shawar were the most desirable and strongest of all contestants on the show. However, Naved and Sayeeda outsmarted them to bag the title trophy of the first season of Power Couple.
The television reality show started in December 2015 with 10 couples which included Apurva and Shilpa Agnihotri, Pratyusha Banerjee and Rahul Raj Singh, Naved and Sayeeda, Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh, Ashmit Patel and Mehak Chahal, Mugdha Godse and Rahul Dev, Sahil Ankola and Ria Banerjee, Delnaaz and DJ Percy, Sandip Soparkar and Jesse Randhawa, Marcelo Ayesha and Shawar Ali as the contestants.
During the course of the show, it invited one celebrity and a non-celeb couple via the wild card entries. The wild card entrants were Kritika Chauhan and Vishal Sharma (contest winner) and famous TV personality Vindu Dara Singh and wife Dina.

The host Arbaaz said that he loved the concept of the show. Further, he said that he thought to try it out and Malaika who has done a lot of TV work was with him which helped him to cope with the anxiety and fear.
