The movie minted Rs 700 crores worldwide which is huge and Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the biggest hit in the career of Salman till date. Aamir Khan’s PK is leading the chart with Rs 900 crores worldwide. Salman is now back with his latest movie PRDP which released on November 12th on the eve of Diwali. The movie is said to be a clean and emotional family entertainer which has been directed by Sooraj R Barjatiya. Salman has teamed up with Barjatiya after 20 years and the whole country has been eagerly waiting for the film.

PRDP also marks the biggest release for an Indian movie and it released in more than 5600 screens across the world and the film has been even dubbed into regional languages like Telugu. Sonam Kapoor played the female lead in the movie and Salman played a dual role in the film.
The movie opened with packed houses inspite of huge theater count and the film registered the highest opening among his films and the movie collected Rs 44.8 crores on its opening day. Shahrukh’s Happy New Year was leading the chart among the biggest openers with Rs 44 crores and Salman crashed all the existing first-day records with PRDP.
The movie has been getting a wide response all over and the movie is said to impress the family audience. Even the response has been quite overwhelming and PRDP is expected to cross Rs 150 crore mark during the first weekend.
Salman Khan’s stupendous performance and Sonam Kapoor’s stunning presence along with Sooraj R Barjatiya’s flawless clean narration along with the huge lavish sets and the cinematography are said to be the major highlights of the film. Himesh Reshamiyya composed the music and the audio of the film is already a huge hit. As Friday is a regular working day for some while some may be engaged in Bhai Dooj celebrations. Thus, it looks like it will see a dip in PRDP collections.
