Prison Break Season 5 Episode 2 Spoilers, Air Date, Promo: Finally, the season 5 of Prison Break premiered after a long wait of 8 years as PB S4 concluded in 2009. It was one of the most anticipated premiere of 2017. The upcoming segment will air on next Tuesday when Michael and Whip will try to execute their escape from the prison.

Thus, Michael along with his cell mate Whip will execute their escape plan from Ogygia.

The reappearance of Michael after so many years drew Sara into a shock. Following Michael’s return, she started dig deeper into it and found a lead which will take her to the state department. An uneasy reunion with Paul Kellerman will follow.
The Prison Break 5×2 synopsis reads the following:
“As Lincoln and C-Note search for the “Sheik of Light,” Michael and his cellmate, Whip, attempt an escape from Ogygia. Meanwhile, Sara’s investigation into Michael’s reappearance leads her to the state department and an uneasy reunion with Paul Kellerman.”
In an interview, show creator Paul T. Scheuring talked about PrisonBreak S5.
“We were not making the show without Michael, and Michael apparently died, at the end of Season 4, so we had to answer the question of, how did he die?” Scheuring said. “And then, we had to give him an emotional journey that was worth doing. That’s when I thought, “I know this story. It’s a man coming back from the dead who, for all intents and purposes, was gone from the earth for seven years, and then showing up in a mysterious place under mysterious circumstances, and coming home to claim the wife and son that he left behind.” That’s The Odyssey. I was like, “If we can tell The Odyssey, that would be cool.” You’ll see all the players from The Odyssey, like Cyclops and Poseidon and Penelope.”
