He has teamed back with writers Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan for the film which has taken enough time to wrap up the script. Ram Charan played a fighter in the flick and Rakul Preet Singh played the female lead in the movie.
SS Thaman composed the music and DVV Danayya produced Bruce Lee on DVV Entertainments banner. Bruce Lee released worldwide for Dasara this year and ended as the biggest debacle in the career of Ramcharan. Megastar Chiranjeevi has been seen in a cameo which could not save the movie’s debacle.

Ramcharan acquired the rights of the flick for a whopping price of Rs 5.5 crores and he has handed over the responsibility to Surendar Reddy who directed Race Gurram and Kick 2 recently. The pre-production work of the movie is currently in final stages.
Shruti HaasanThe makers have considered many names to play the female lead in the film. Amyra Dastur walked out of the film due to the problems with her dates. Ileana D’Cruz and Samantha too were considered but the makers have finalized Shruti Haasan to play the heroine in the movie.

Rakshak will be launched officially on January 16th in a grand event and the regular shoot of the film will start during the first week of February next year.
Aravind Swamy will play the main villain in the movie and Hiphop Thamiza will compose the music. The complete shoot of Rakshak will be wrapped up in a single schedule and the film will be produced by Allu Aravind on Geetha Arts banner. Rakshak will complete all the formalities and will hit the screens during July next year.
