Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan is one of the highest paid Indian actors and he was the one who introduced Rs 100 crore club for Indian movies.

9 of his consecutive Bollywood films made it to the Rs 100 crore club despite of some of the debacles among them. Salman Khan has been busy shooting for back to back films and is gearing up for release with his upcoming movie titled Sultan. However it was Bajrangi Bhaijaan that released for Eid last year and it ended up as the biggest hit in his career.

Kabir Khan directed the movie which is the second highest Indian grosser after Aamir Khan’s PK. Salman also had super hit movies like Kick, Ek Tha Tiger and Bodyguard released during Eid in the past and all the movies ended up as massive hits at the box-office.

Sultan is the fifth consecutive movie that will hit the screens during Eid and his fans are eagerly waiting if this movie too can make the magic at the box-office.

If we compare top 10 grossers among Salman Khan’s films, 9 of them crossed Rs 100 crore mark and Wanted is the only movie that ended up collecting Rs 61 crores.

After Bajrangi Bhaijaan, it was Kick which is the second highest grossed movie directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie happened to be the remake of Telugu movie with the same name.

The list of his top films include Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2, Bodyguard, Dabangg, Ready, Jai Ho and Wanted. These are the top ten highest grossing films of Salman Khan.

Sultan has been directed by Abbas Ali Zafar and Anushka Sharma played the female lead in the movie. Salman will be seen as a wrestler in the film and he has done enough hard work to fit as a wrestler in Sultan.

The movie is now one of the most awaited films that will hit the screens this year after the release of the theatrical trailer. The trailer has been a smashing hit and the expectations on the film creeped up.

Salman has been even eyeing South Indian market and Sultan will release in Telugu and Tamil languages along with Hindi. Aditya Chopra produced Sultan on Yash Raj Films which will hit the screens on July 6th all over during Eid.

Let’s wait to see if Sultan will make it to the list of top ten grossed Salman’s movies and end up as the fifth consecutive hit during Eid.
