Sarrainodu 2nd Day Collection 2 Days Sarainodu 1st Saturday Box Office Business and Occupancy Report: The latest Telugu movie started its collections journey on a good note. From the southern states of India (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), the Allu Arjun and Rakul Preet Singh starrer collected a huge amount and became the 3rd highest opener of 2016. However, it wasn’t able to cross the records of Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Nannaku Prematho. The film has been in news ever since it was announced. It got a positive buzz and with its promos, songs, and promotion strategies; it got hyped. It became one of the most anticipated movies.

2 Days Sarainodu 1st Saturday Box OfficeBeing released in both the Telugu speaking states on April 22 and have gotten a massive screen count of 950 screens, Sarainodu became the Allu Arjun’s biggest release. The makers had premiere/benefit shows in the early hours of Friday. The shows witnessed full occupancy.
Produced by Allu Aravind, the movie saw good advance bookings and therefore the occupancy in the morning shows were too good. Later on, it kept increasing throughout the day. On an average, the first-day occupancy was near to 80% from both the single screens and multiplexes.
From the AP/T box office, Sarainodu collected Rs. 10.96 crores on the first day as per the stats of andhraboxoffice.com while it grossed to about Rs. 14.4 crores. It surpassed the collections of S/O Satyamurthy and Race Gurram which had earned Rs. 9.27 cr and Rs. 6.89 cr respectively.
While, Sardaar Gabbar Singh, and Nannaku Prematho had collected Rs. 20.92 cr and Rs. 12.18 crores respectively on the opening Friday. Till now, Pawan Kalyan and Jr. NTR’s films have the tag of highest openers of the year. Sarrainodu pushed down Dictator to come at the second spot.

On the second day, Sarainodu is running flawlessly at almost all locations. Some areas have reported houseful shows. Thus, Sarrainodu is going to have a great opening weekend.
As per the expectations, it should fare well for the next two days as no such prominent releases are there and also, there are summer holidays ahead.
