Soggade Chinni Nayana 21st Day Collection 21 Days SCN 3rd Week/Thursday Box Office Business and Occupancy Report: Akkineni Nagarjuna has not scored a solo hit in the recent times and he has been out of films from some time. His last outing Manam was a family affair in which his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao and his son Naga Chaitanya played the lead roles along with him. (see: Nannaku Prematho collections.)
His younger son Akhil has been shown in a cameo in the movie directed by Vikram Kumar. Manam ended as a blockbuster all over which has been produced by his home banner Annapurna Studios. None of his films released in 2015 and he has taken a break from acting.

He has been busy with tv show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu and he signed a number of endorsements which kept him busy for much time. Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu made Nagarjuna get attached to tv audience and the show has been a stupendous hit all over. (read: review of Sanam Teri Kasam.)
After the completion of the first series, the makers have shot for three installments which made Nag stick to the show instead of signing films. He has then signed two movies SoggadeChinniNayana and Oopiri. Both the films have started shooting and Nag kept juggling between the films which are completely different in genres.
SCN has been directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala and this is his first film as a director. Nagarjuna has taken enough care on his character and he made sure he looked fit and lean for the film. He played dual roles in the film as Bangarraju and Ram.
Ramya Krishna played the female lead in the movie and Lavanya Tripathi has been seen in the other heroine’s role. The music composed by Anup Rubens was a smashing hit all over and the movie has been raised for Sankranthi release between many big films. Nag produced the film on Annapurna Studios banner.

The film even could not get a wide release and the film released in around 450 screens across the world. The movie released to the world on January 15th during Sankranthi and the movie received wide response from the audience all over. The movie has been declared as a super hit all over right from the first show and around 200 screens have been increased in the second week.
The film even got bigger in its second week and the makers have increased 100 more screens once the Sankranthi released films got slowed down. The flick collected Rs 49.2 crores in 22 days of its box-office run all over. The talkie is the biggest hit of Nagarjuna till date and the movie will cross Rs 50 crore mark soon.
