Star Wars 1st Day Collection SW Opening Box Office Weekend Business and Occupancy Report: The latest movie The Force Awakens of the StarWars franchise has been released worldwide. Speaking specifically of the first weekend, then the flick has raked in a total of $238 million and that too only in the United States. It has broken the previous record set by Jurassic World which minted $208.8 million. Going worldwide then, it has minted over $517 million and fell just short of Jurassic World which collected $524 million as the opening weekend collections. And as per the expectation, it will surpass the figures of the film.

Furthermore, it has proved to be that 2nd biggest weekend opener in nations like France, Belgium, Israel, and Chile. It can said same for the business in the UK, but here it enjoyed 4 day long extended weekend. Adding to its records, it registered the biggest worldwide IMAX debut collecting $48 million. It is slated to release in Greece and India on 24th December 2015 and China on January 9.
