The Flash Season 2 Episode 13 Review: The thirteenth episode of “The Flash” season two was quite a spectacle to watch. Titled “Welcome to Earth-2” and directed by Millicent Shelton was full of moments that made my jaw drop. For me, this episode kicked back season two to life. Some feel that story could have been better but I don’t think along the same lines as that could have led to complexity and ultimately, disinterest. This show was quite complete even without a “better story” and was full of moments where a DC fanboy like me would just drool in awe.
In the last episode, Barry had declared his intention to travel to Earth-2 to save Wells’ daughter. In the beginning of this episode, Barry, Wells and Cisco are seen preparing to travel to Earth-2. They have closed all inter-dimensional breaches except the one below STAR Labs while Wells made his last entry in his journal. We again get a glimpse at his humane side when he bids Caitlin and Joe adieu just as he was going to enter the breach.
The Flash Season 2 Episode 13 Review
While going through the breach, we get a look at various other universes and their respective superheroes. We also get a hint that the current “Supergirl” series could be set up in some other universe, given that the Flash-Supergirl crossover (to be aired in March) is named “Worlds Finest” (No, there is no grammatical error in the title. Keep calm and read on). Barry and Cisco are delighted to see the “other frequency of universe”. They are taking selfies and going crazy over the technological advancements of the other universe.

2. X-Men: Apocalypse.
There is an underlying tension of returning to Earth-1 in time, which seems difficult as the only breach destabilized. Also, Wells’ plight is also noticeable due to his desperation to get his daughter back.
Now getting to the interesting part, Caitlin and Ronnie are villains working for Cisco (!!) who in turn works for Zoom. Barry and Iris are married and Barry’s mother is alive (Barry from Earth-1 is so jealous of his doppelganger). We get to see a lot of easter eggs which I leave for you to see for yourself (or have a look at the episode 14 promo review). The Flash Season 2 Episode 13 Review
Barry replaces his doppelganger, Earth-2 Joe gets killed and there is an altercation between Team Cisco from Earth-1 and Team Cisco from Earth-2. Zoom kills Earth-2 Cisco and Ronnie for disobeying him and abducts Barry. Barry wakes up in a containment cell where he finds Jessie and someone whose identity has not yet been disclosed. Meanwhile, Jay Garrick tries to fill up for Barry as the Flash on Earth-1 with Caitlin’s help.
