Tripura Movie Review

Analysis:

The first half of the movie has been entertaining throughout and handled out decently. The movie lacks naturality during the narration of Tripura’s character. The episodes showing her disease has been faked completely which makes the film lose the needed impact. The music is a huge minus for the movie and, on the whole, the first half has been managed to be interesting throughout with the needed thrilling elements.

The second half of the movie which is the main game changer fails to create the needed magic. The original plot has completely deviated and the director tried to impress the audience with entertainment. Though a series of comedy tracks have been indulged forcefully, the audience has been left confused completely. The climax resembles completely of Geethanjali which is the biggest negative element of the film. On the whole, the second half fails in all the available ways in making the audience entertaining.

Performance:

Swathi who has impressed and proved her acting skills in the past tried doing a challenging role. The climax episodes needed much to perform at which Swathi has excelled completely. She has been fat enough in the character of Tripura and she hardly tried dancing in the songs. Naveen Chandra has been decent with his assignment and he performed well as Naveen. Rao Ramesh, Sapthagiri, and others have been decent throughout.

The story of the film has nothing new to say bu the basic plot has been interesting. The screenplay and the dialogues have been below the line especially the second half has not taken care of. The music and the background score spoil the feel of the film and the cinematography has been decent. The production values have been grand enough and the director Raj Kiran has failed to create the magic with the genre of horror comedy.

Final Word:

Tripura is a complete misfire from the director of Geethanjali which was a smashing hit. Predictable plot and the resemblances with Geethanjali make the film fall flat. A film that can be completely ignored.
