Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 21st August 2016: Akshara and Karishma were worried for Naksh seeing him irritated and frustrated. Varsha was cleaning Nunu’s room and found a bundle of money there. She asked Nunu about the money. (check: YRKKH Last episode.)
He lied saying his card was not working, so he got the cash. He stated that he did not want to trouble them. She smiled and gave him coffee and said she would arrange his room. He denied and said he would arrange everything by himself.

Kartik went to the doctor for check up. Doctor had to give him an injection, but he denied and said he was allergic to injections. Naira laughed. Kartik held Gayu’s hand when the doctor was giving him an injection. Gayu smiled. Akshara asked Kartik to take rest. But he wished to go back home and rest there. Everyone asked him to keep quiet and rest there only. Gayu thought to tell Kartik her feelings as she felt he was trying a lot on her.
Vivan came and surprised Gayu. Gayu was glad seeing him there. She asked how he planned to come there. He said that Rama called him. Vivan greeted everyone. Everyone smiled. Rama asked Gayu to go and talk with Vivan. Naira was going after Gayu as she forgot her phone but Rama asked her not to go and took Gayu’s phone.
Vivan and Gayu talked and laughed. He then said that he had something important to tell to Gayu. Gayu asked him to say without any hesitation, but he got a call when he was about to say. Gayu thought to tell Vivan about Kartik as he might help her.
Varsha was worried about Nunu as she thought he was lying to her and was hiding something.
Rama told Akshara that Vivan had come to talk about his marriage with Gayu as they had been friends for a long time. They would have a good future together. But Akshara said that Gayu was young, and they should wait for some more years. Rama said she was not a 16-year-old kid. She knew everything. She had set up her life. Akshara tried to make her understand the situation that Naksh fell in during his young age. She said that she did not think Gayu thinks in that way about Vivan. Rama got angry and stated that she had to go as she had a lot of work.

Naira was giving juice to Kartik but heard Mishti teasing him and calling smart. Naira thought to trouble him. They both argued. Rama signed Vivan and asked him to have food with Gayu.
