Chhota Rajan Arrested In Indonesia; CBI Confirmed

Chhota Rajan Arrest: Central Branch of India (CBI), earlier today, confirmed the arrest of underworld don Chota Rajan, a most-wanted gangster in association with numerous assaults.

On Sunday, Indonesian police got their hands on the criminal after chasing him for few decades.

“On the request of CBI (Interpol-India), Bali Police has arrested Rajan, who has other names – Mohan Kumar alias Rajendra Sadashiv Nikhil ji alias Chota Rajan,” CBI director Anil Sinha told TOI, confirming the arrest of Chhota Rajan. (see: shandaar collections.)

The Indian government has been trying to solve the interest in cooperation with Australian and Indonesian authorities and expecting for central commands to take him in custody for further investigation, he added.

“We thank authorities in Australia and Indonesia for their prompt assistance. Further investigation and identification are being carried out and further action will be taken as required under law,” said Anil Sinha.

Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister of India, bowed to Interpol and Indonesian police for arresting him.

“There was close coordination between India, Australia and Indonesia in this matter,” Union minister of state for home Kiren Rijiju said.

Don was reportedly flying from Australia to Bali,  and police successfully caught him, according to sources.

Heri Wiyanto, Bali Police spokesman said, “Rajendra Sadashiv Nikalje, a.k.a Chhota Rajan was expected to be coming to Bali from Sydney, Australia from a flight later this night to close a deal for an Island, and he was captured by airport security.”

He is suffering the orders of extortion, murder, smuggling, drug trafficking and film finance. According to reports, his younger brother produced film financed by the don. He is wanted for 17 murder charges and few extra ventured murders. It is being considered that Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel had informed security about the venture of Rajan in Indonesia. He lived in Sydney from a long time under different fake identities. (check: Bigg Boss 9 episode 15.)

Once in 2000, Dawood’s gang members successfully found out Rajan in a hotel in Bangkok, but he succeeded escaping the attempted murder.
