Harapan ng Bise ABS-CBN Vice Presidential Debate: ABS-CBN Network conducted its VP Debate titled and which is making rounds on the social media Twitter with hashtag #HarapanBise. It held today, Sunday, 17th April 2016. (check: Fan collection.)

ABS-CNN followed the trend started by CNN Philippines Vice Presidential PiliPinas Debate 2016 which took place a few days ago. Thus, following the trend ABSCNN Network conducted the next round of the debates for VP aspirants in “Harapan Bise”.

Harapan ng Bise ABS-CBN Vice Presidential Debate

All the six vice-presidential candidates namely – Alan Peter Cayetano, Chiz Escudero, Gringo Honasan, Antonio Trillanes IV, Bongbong Marcos, and Leni Robredo were expected to present and face one another for the second time. They were supposed to put forward their stand on important issues and their platforms.

The candidates for Vice-President, Senators Ferdinand Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan II couldn’t make it to the debates organized by ABS-CBN.

Marcos said that he was busy in his pre-scheduled private meetings and then took the time off from his busy election campaign schedule to celebrate the 23rd wedding anniversary with wife Louise.

Honasan said he has prior commitments in Mindanao, which coincide with the debate schedule and they couldn’t be rescheduled on such short notice.

The “Harapan ng Bise” VP debate organized by ABS-CNN aired live on the TV channel 2 at 5:30 pm local time on April 17. It was telecast simultaneously on ANC, DZMM TeleRadyo, and The Filipino Channel.
