PM Narendra Modi Accepts Mark Zuckerberg’s Invite For Q&A Session

Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narenda Modi has accepted the invitation of Mark Zuckerberg, CEO, Facebook to the headquarters of Social Media giant in San Francisco, California for a Q&A session on September 27th.

The Q&A session by Mr. Modi and Mr. Zuckerberg will be covering lots of issues and the primary focus will be on how to increase the connectivity among the people globally and discuss some issues orienting around social and economic problems.

Narendra Modi not only accepted Mark for the invitation but also thanked him.

Zuckerberg has been doing Q&A sessions at his headquarters in townhall style, but for the first time, he will be hosting his special guest.

Mark Zuckerberg posted about Modi’s arrival earlier on the Sunday morning on his FB profile.

Narendra Modi to visit Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook Headquarter in Silicon Valley for a Q&A session

This will be the second meeting of Mark Zuckerberg and Narendra Modi. The duo leaders met in October, last year when Mark was on a trip to India to begin his initiative of internet.org.

At that time also, both these had a session of around 2 hours and discussed a variety of topics related to technology, Digital India, Education. The upcoming Q&A session is expected to be more broad with similar topics.

The Q&A session will begin at 9:30 AM (Pacific timings) and 10:00 PM (IST).

PM Modi will be visiting USA in the last week of September and this time, his major journey will be in Silicon Valley. He will be visiting the headquarters of Facebook Inc., Apple Inc. and Stanford University. His official schedule is still to be announced.

This trip basically revolves around his vision of “Start-Up India, Stand-Up India”, an initiative which was begin on Independence Day, 2015.
