Hajj 2017 Live Streaming: People belonging to the Muslim community have come from around the world to Mecca / Makkah. Ahead of the second holiest festival, the Muslims have gathered in their most religious Islamic venue. (Date: When is Eid al Adha in 2017?)

They will perform Haj pilgrimage at the Mount Arafat which starts from Friday, 9th September. More than 1.5 million people will arrive at Mecca to take part in the several centuries old tradition. It is considered to be one of the five pillars of Islam.

Hajj is to be undertaken by every Muslim, male or female, at least once in a lifetime. Hajj comprises the most important tasks of circling the Kaaba, traveling between the mountains of Safa and Marwah on foot, praying on Mount Arafat and pelting stones at pillars that represent the devil.

The annual pilgrimage will be completed as the celebration of Eid ul Adha (Eid ul Adha / Bakra Eid / Bakrid) starts. On that day, Muslims sacrifice an animal, male goat at most times in many countries.

Saudi Arabia / UAE and some countries like the USA, UK will celebrate Eid al-Adha on September 1. While some nations like India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh will observe it on September 2, the next day.

Al Arabiya, the news site owned by Saudi Arabia will do the live telecast of the Haj pilgrimage. It has deployed a team of 35 members for the same. They will utilize high technology equipped equipment like remote controlled drones.

Drones will have high definition cameras which will give an aerial view of million of views performing their spiritual journey. The same channel has the responsibility to air the live coverage from the Mount Arafat through the day until sunset during the Haj period.
