WWE Backlash 2016 Match Card, Rumors, Spoilers, News: The World Wrestling Entertainment is going to conduct its upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) competition as per the schedule on September 11. It will take place at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia. (check: WWE Raw Results.)

WWE Backlash 2016 Match Card
- Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles (WWE world heavyweight championship)
Ambrose has challenged the current heavyweight title holder and this time; Styles is the champion. He got this belt after defeating John Cena at SummerSlam 2016. Earlier, it was rumored that this match would be a triple threat with the inclusion of Dolph Ziggler, but he lost yet again. Thus, we will have a straight and straightforward game.
- Nikki Bella vs. Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Carmella vs. Natalya vs. Naomi (SmackDown women’s championship)
After men’s title, it will be the time for women’s title quest as the championship battle will involve six female superstars on the roster except for Eva Marie as she was suspended recently.
- Tag team tournament final (SmackDown tag team championship)
The blue brand will have everything of its own just like Raw does. The tag teams are preparing themselves for the title match. Teams who will fight for this belt would be The Usos, American Alpha, Hype Bros, Vaudevillains, Heath Slater & Rhyno, and one more team to be revealed.

Earlier, Orton was waiting to have a match with Brock Lesnar again, but Wyatt interrupted him. Their verbal encounter paved the way for this fight at the Backlash. Thus, fans will have a great match ahead.
- The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler (Intercontinental Championship)
As of now, Daniel Bryan can’t fight. Thus, the organization replaced him with Ziggler against The Miz for the belt competition.
