Google new logo: The search engine giant, Google Inc has introduced a new logo. It made it officially today. Just a month earlier, it completely restructured the company. It is giving itself a completely new image.
However, the new Google logo is still a trademark. This time the company has replaced the old fonts with the modern day looking sans-serif typeface. Colors used a little bit softer to the eyes.
The look of the new logo is somehow seemingly similar to the logo of the new parent company of the Google, Alphabet. The logo or the wordmark of Alphabet is also plain. Thus, this change makes the logos of both the company a little more in line.

Google new logoGoogle posted a video regarding the continuous evolution of its logo since 1998 when it was created. Somehow, you will accept that it is one of the biggest change in its logo since 1999. In 1999, the tech giant settled for a cleaner and plainer logo with just four colors.
Thereafter, the logo observed many changes. It gets cleaner and flattened with every update. But today’s update in the logo makes it one of the biggest change. With the wordmark update, Google will also replace the tiny ‘g’ logo on browser tabs with the capital ‘G’. It will be made up of strips of all the four colors of Google’s colors used in its logo.
The officials of Google said that the changes will be rolled out soon and simultaneously for all the products. Moreover, it has been already changed on Google’s homepage bundled with a nice animation which shows up cleaning the old logo and drawing the new one.
Google answered the question why it made the change and introduced the new logo. In a blog post on the official site, Google has shared that technology has changed significantly since it was first launched in 1998. So, the redesign was a must but the latest design shows what the Google really is. It has not been restricted to a site only opened through desktop computers rather, as of now, it is a bundle of a large number of apps, sites, and services made to ease life of people. Now, people can access the search engine or any other product via PCs, Chromebooks, laptops, smartphones, web browser, etc.
According to the Google, the new logo reflects the reality and magic created by it even on the tiniest screen.
Google’s new logo has been redesigned in such a way so that it can be opened perfectly on any screen size, can be scaled to any desired screen size which will result in easier reading of the wordmark. It will also be rendered effectively on low bandwidth connections. The Google new logo is only 305 bytes whereas the old one was about 14,000 bytes.
It is one of the plans of the new Google CEO Sundar Pichai to provide the internet, i.e., Google across the globe where it already doesn’t exist yet. This difference will be of worth doing.
