Microsoft Office 2016 launched In India, Pricing, Subscription Details Announced

Microsoft Office 2016 has been launched by the software giant. It has released the apps for the latest version of Office 365. The company has also unveiled the new and improved services for the office suite.

The apps are specially made and optimised for Windows 10 and has included the new Sway which will help in creating interactive and shareable stories. Windows Hello support is also provided via which users can log into OS as well as Office 365 in just one click. The company told that the combination of Office 2016 with Office 365 will provide capabilities for better enterprise security and protection.

The new version of Office sports Tell Me, a solution for finding anything fast enough Office features or command. Moreover, Smart Lookup has been added to bring to help in documents via the web. Excel 2016 has an integrated publishing to Power BI and newest chart types.

Now, the documents list enables users to start from right where they left earlier. It doesn’t matter whether they were shuffling across devices, or whether working in Office online or in mobile apps or desktop version. Moreover, it has new collaboration features.

Microsoft also told that it has an inbuilt data prevention system for all the office apps which will reduce the risk of sensitive date to be leaked and also includes tools for IT administrators to helping in managing content authoring and document sharing policies. It has integrated features with Cortana.

The all new Microsoft Office 2016 and its apps have been launched in 14 languages of India and 47 languages around the globe. It will require Windows 7 or later to be able to run. Office 365 subscribers  can download the new Office 2016 apps  within their subscription. To consumers, the automatic updates will be rolling out next month. The company has made it a one-time purchase for both PCs and Mac.

Office 365 Personal (For One User – One PC + One Tablet + One Phone) is priced at Rs 3,299 per annum. Office 365 Home (For Five Users – Five PCs + Five Tablets + Five Phones) is priced at Rs 4,199 per annum.

Office 2016 is also a one-time purchase for Rs. 5,999 for Home and Student edition and Rs. 18,999 for Home and Business edition while the standard version is available at Rs. 24,844 and professional package for Rs. 33,911.
