This wearable smartwatch was launched on this Tuesday. This device was launched by Huami, the sub-brand of Xiaomi. It is named as “Xiaomi’s Amazfit Smartwatch’. In the early year, the company has also launched a smartphone but just for kids. This time, the company has focused on grown-ups.
Over the specs, AmazFit features 1.34 inches circular display with a resolution of 300 x 300. The smartwatch is powered by 1.2 GHz processor coupled with 512 MB RAM. There is a storage of 4 GB in this watch. The smartwatch comes with is claimed to be the world’s first smartwatch with a 28nm GPS sensor.
This amazing smartw atch is water resistant and dust resistant with IP67 certification. It is said to have ceramic bezel which is scratch resistant. It also comes with nm band that is said to be user replacement. This watch features a heart rate sensor on the rear side of the device.
The device is powered by a 200 mAh battery. The company is promising to power it up to 5 days of battery life. Also, a 30 hours backup with GPS enabled and 11.6 days with pedometer function enabled. The smartwatch is said to work on any Android device that supports MiFit app. It runs on its own customized OS.
The device is just launched in China, and the Chinese users will start availing the device from tomorrow onward in China. The device is said to be priced at 799 Yuan (Approximately Rs. 8000 or $120). The company has tied up with Alibaba service to offer mobile payment for AliPay service. It is expected that the firm will launch this device in other countries (like European countries and Asian countries) very soon.
