Ram Charan Takes A Shocking Decision For His Next Movie Rakshak: Mega Powerstar Ramcharan has terrific craze all over and he made his debut as the son and successor of Megastar Chiranjeevi. Chiru had a huge fan base and once he shifted his focus towards politics, Ramcharan and Allu Arjun took the responsibility to entertain the Mega fans all over. After an impressive start, Ramcharan did not come up with a blockbuster in the recent times. He teamed up with Krishna Vamsi for Govindhudu Andarivadele which released in 2015 for Dasara and the movie ended as a decent entertainer. Kajal played the female lead and Bandla Ganesh produced the movie.

After this, Ramcharan signed a movie in the direction of Srinu Vaitla which has been titled as Bruce Lee. Ramcharan has been showcased as a fighter in the film and RakulPreet Singh played the female lead in the film. SS Thaman composed the music and leaving everyone in surprise the movie released all over during Dasara and it ended as one of the biggest debacles.
The movie had repeated content and predictable narration which made the movie rejected everywhere. Even Megastar Chiranjeevi’s cameo could not save the film from ending up the average. DVV Danayya produced the movie on DVV Entertainments banner and Bruce Lee ended up in huge losses.
Ramcharan signed his next movie which is the remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan. Jayam Ravi, Nayanthara, and Aravind Swamy played the lead roles in the movie. M Raja directed the film and AGS Entertainments produced Thani Oruvan.
Ram Charan acquired the theatrical rights of the movie for a whopping price of Rs 5.5 crores. Surendar Reddy has been finalized to direct the film which has been titled as Rakshak in Telugu. The pre-production work of the movie is currently in final stages and the movie will be launched officially during Sankranthi next year.
Ramcharan is personally taking care of everything and he is even supervising the script. He even asked the director not to add any comedy episodes in the movie as the film will lose the grip of screenplay and seriousness. Shruti Haasan will play the female lead and Ramcharan asked the makers to plan continuous long schedule to wrap the shoot and close the film on a limited budget.
Ramcharan even is charging no remuneration for Rakshak and the movie will be given for the distributors of Bruce Lee revealed sources. Though the makers wanted to start the shoot from January, Ramcharan is not in a hurry and he insisted them to start shoot from the first week of February. Allu Aravind and NV Prasad will jointly produce the movie which will release during the second half of 2016.
