CBSE 10th result 2018 has been declared. The Central Board of Secondary Education published the class 10 results online today. Out of total appeared students, 86.70% candidates qualified the 10th class examination. Thiruvananthapuram turned out to be the best/top region with 99.60% qualified candidates.

As the CBSE class 10 results 2018 is available online, anyone (students and parents) can check CBSE class 10th result on the board’s official website – cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in, google search page, bing search page, SMS Organizer app, and UMANG app available for both Android and iOS.

Just after the declaration, you may face a little difficulty in accessing your result due to heavy turnaround and traffic. It’s because a huge number of people will reach out to the online modes to get their results. The Google result page will be available for about an hour after the declaration.

Besides, Google and Bing, Microsoft has come up with an idea of SMS Organizer app. It will help candidates to get their results checked offline. To do it, students need to pre-register their details and the results will then be delivered to the registered candidates only, via SMS.

Jawahar Navodya Vidyalayas (JNVs) and Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) have done a better job than private schools. JNVs and KVs have got a pass percentage of 97.31 and 95.96 respectively. 27476 students have got equal to more than 95% marks. 131493 candidates have got equal to more than 90% marks.

16,24,682 students appeared for the exam and out of them, 1,86,067 candidates got compartment in the examination. Talking about the CBSE 10th toppers 2018 – Prakhar Mittal from DPS Gurgaon, Rimzhim Agarwal from RP Public School (Bijnor), Nandini Garg from Scottish International School (Shamli) and Sreelakshmi G from Bhavan’s Vidyalaya (Cochin) topped the exam with 498 marks – meaning 99.8%.

How To Check CBSE 10th Result 2018

  1. Visit the official site – cbseresults.nic.in
  2. Look for CBSE Class 10 result link and click on it.
  3. Then, you will be asked to enter the important details like roll number, date of birth, etc.
  4. Enter them and click on Submit button.
  5. The results will be available on the next page.

After the results of Class 10th, the next big thing to consider is opting for a stream of choice in Class 12 for future prospects. It doesn’t necessarily mean to choose Science. You should opt out of interest and curiosity and not from someone’s compulsion.

The Delhi Police has already sent the list of students who had allegedly received the leaked papers after the board sought it from the crime branch as told by the Press Trust of India (PTI). Contrary to the trend, boys performed better than girls this year.
