Gautamiputra Satakarni 14th Day Collection 14 Days GPSK 2nd Wednesday / Week Box Office Report: The Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest movie Gautamiputra Satakarni is faring at the worldwide BO. It has already collected Rs. 50 crores with the completion of its first weekend in the global market in the first four days.
It was released on January 12 on over 1000 screens worldwide. It was well-received by the audience across the globe. The worldwide box office collection of Gautamiputra Satakarni on the first day was Rs. 18.55 cr. Thus, it meant Rs. 12.75 cr for the distributors on the opening itself.

With such whooping figures, it became the highest grosser of NBK and director Krish. The directorial of Krish received positive reviews from both the audience and the critics. Moreover, word of mouth was also good. It gave strength to its business on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday too.
Till date, the GPSK has grossed Rs. 33 cr from AP/T region alone, Rs. 5.25 cr in Karnataka, Rs. 8.25 cr in the US and rest Rs. 3.50 from the rest of the world. All it did in the first four-day extended weekend only. Four days worldwide collection of GautamiputraSatakarni stands at Rs. 50 cr approximately.
The movie was made on a budget of Rs. 45 cr approx. It collected Rs. 46.80 cr from its global theatrical rights’ sale only. In the first three days, it earned Rs. 36 cr for its distributors and it meant that 76.92 percentage of their investments had been recovered.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana government made it tax-free. With the tax exemption, 15% more got added in the Gautamiputra Satakarni collections. It resulted in a sudden boost in its earnings from the above two states. It beat the lifetime earnings of Dictator which were Rs. 19.30 crores.
Also, it reached $1.25 million at the US box office including the $363,000 which it collected from the US premiere shows. In the first four days, it has collected $1,258,691 (Rs 8.57 crore) from the US only. The day-wise breakup is as follows: $363,000 on Wednesday, $135,000 on Thursday, $176,818 on Friday, $ 320,276 on Saturday and $236,820 on Sunday.
On fifth day, it collected $90,351 at the US box office and took the five days collections to $1,364,211.
It became the 25th Telugu movie to cross the $1 million mark in the US market. It is now heading towards $2 mn marks. If it does so, it will become the sixth Tollywood film to achieve the target.
On the worldwide scale, the movie has recovered 68.84 percent of its investment made by the distributors. The film has managed to earn Rs. 32.22 cr out of Rs. 46.80 cr for them.

18th January 2017 – $1,449,617 [₹ 9.87 cr] in the USA up to Tuesday. It reached 60 cr mark on Wednesday.
