Its more than a year observing a bollywood film getting good response on the domestic screens after the initial release. With close publicity and average advertising budget, Hindi Medium made its way to the theaters. Decent occupancy observed throughout the entire week despite the fact Baahubali 2 collections coming in the actual competition.

The trend started going in the positive wave after first weekend. As the Hindi Medium collections on Monday touched the figure of 3.15 crores (35 Lakhs more than first day earnings), we could predict a better time for film on Indian box office starting from now.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, ticket prices of film continues to be very much nominal around the country. Having a great reach over the odds does helped in totalling the Tuesday (2.6 crores) and Wednesday (2.9 crores) earnings to 5.5 crores which is a great figure considering the size of release.
Hindi Medium have earned over 21 crores on the Indian box office yet. The reports from overseas BO are yet to be arrived. Film is not expected to do any great business overseas.
