Fans of the show were extremely ecstatic when it was announced that KonoSuba Season 3 is on the way. Fans all over the world are looking forward to seeing this long-awaited revival.
Following a long wait of 5 years, a spinoff anime has also been announced along with season 3 of Konosuba. It will center around Megumin character from the series. The release dates have not been determined yet, but it is expected that they will begin airing in less than a year.

After more than five years without any new installments, the hit isekai series KonoSuba’s renewal for its season 3 has come forward. Roughly a year ago, it was said to be in development, but no details have yet emerged.
The new sequel will see Takaaki Kato returning as director. Yujiro Abe has been named the episode director, which appears to be an episodic one. Makoto Uezu and Koichi Kikuta are are reprising their roles as composer and character designer, respectively.
The story is being transferred from Studio Deen to Studio Drive, a relatively young animation studio. The new studio has made Uzumake adaptations and To Your Eternity season 2. Both are yet to air.
Konosuba Season 3 Release Date
No further information regarding the returning cast and crew is known at this time. The same will be known with the release of Konosuba season 3 trailer. However, it’s reasonable to assume that nearly all of the major cast members will return. A change in animation studios does imply a lot of positions are open, however.
