Umesh Ghadge turned director with this movie and Tushar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani, Krishna Abhishek, Gizele Thakral, Claudia Ciesla and Darshan Jariwala played the most prominent roles in the film. The makers have spent almost two years on the script of the film and the shoot of the movie has been wrapped up in 6 months.

Along with these, the movie has been into controversies for misusing Sooraj R Barjatiya’s name and he took the issue legally after which it has been sorted out. The makers have struggled a lot for the film’s release and finally they planned to release the movie during the Republic day weekend on January 22nd along with Akshay Kumar’s Airlift.

The movie received poor response from the audience. Most of the episodes have been trimmed and the film has been filled with voice mutes which made the audience get irritated. The critics slammed the film completely for the concept less film and it has nothing interesting to reveal. Though the film opened with 50% occupancy during the first weekend, the collections dropped down gradually over the weekdays.
The film collected Rs 34.1 crores in two weeks of its theatrical run. The movie has been declared as a debacle in overseas territories and Akshay Kumar’s Airlift getting huge positive talk killed the complete film. KKHH 3 has been produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shoba Kapoor on Balaji Motion Pictures banner.
