Ok Jaanu 1st / 2nd / 3rd day collection 2 / 3 days Ok Janu first Friday / Saturday / Weekend / Sunday box office & occupancy report: The Ok Jaanu movie collection starts with an average figure. Some years back, the January jinx had affected the movies. But, it is not the case anymore because the recent past films have turned out to be blockbusters in the first month only. Let’s have a quick look at the OK Jaanu collection report.
OkJaanu stars Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead roles. The previous movies of the both the actors were disasters. Aditya did Fitoor while Shraddha starred in Rock On 2. Their latest film has released on more than 1500 screens. The early trend reports have suggested an average opening occupancy. Most of its business will be done at multiplexes.
OK Jaanu 1st Day Collection Update
The movie registered an occupancy of 25% on an average for the morning shows across the nation. It got a better reception at premium multiplexes in the areas of Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore. The flick doesn’t have a big star value, but being quite a big release after three weeks of Dangal, Ok Jaanu box office collection got a good opening.

The movie is expected to fare average in North India and better in Mumbai and South India. Till afternoon, it witnessed an average occupancy. It requires performing better in the later half of the day to get good collections at BO. Also, Deepika Padukone and Vin Diesel starrer xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is also releasing tomorrow.
Thus, it won’t be an easy fight between the two. OkJaanu may suffer a lot. The rest depends on word of mouth. Moreover, there is an intense competition in the Southern India because of Chiranjeevi’s 150th release – Khaidi No 150 after a long time. The movie of Chiranjeevi has done a marvelous business down South especially in the Telugu speaking areas.
The opening numbers are far better than their previous films. Previously, they were seen together in Aashiqui 2. If Ok Janu failed to grow in the later half of the day, thus it failed to cross the opening day figures of Aashiqui 2 (Rs. 5.25 cr). Ok Jaanu’s promos didn’t work well. Thus, it didn’t get much pre-release buzz and hype. All seems to be cold.
Now, the makers have to rely on the content and how well the audience receives and reacts to it. There is no doubt on the strength of word of mouth be it good or bad. Being Mumbai and South flavor, it will be difficult for the film to click the minds of North people.
The early trends suggest that Ok Janu first day box office collection will remain around Rs. 5 cr. The report will be updated with the collection of evening and night shows’ numbers.
Ok Jaanu 1st Day Collection – Rs. 4.08 (updated)
Ok Jaanu 2nd Day Collection – Rs. 4.90 cr
Ok Jaanu 3rd Day Collection – Rs. 5 cr (early estimates)
Ok Janu 1st weekend Box Office Collections – Rs. 15 cr (worldwide) to be updated
What are your expectations from the film? Stay tuned.
