She has a very painful reunion and asks we can’t be the same and Jamie says yes, we can’t be, and they think of healing of their wounds with the time.

When Claire begins the Mother Superior, she gets warned saying she might surrender her virtue to save up Jamie. Comte St. Germain and Master Raymond are brought in front of the judge, and Claire cleverly leads them out of danger. Raymond is banished from France sparing his life. The King also demands an extra price from Claire.

When Master Raymond visits Claire late night to cure her postnatal infection, she describes as a magical experience and says she has felt the deaths of bacteria. King’s sorcery trail stands out to be the fun part of this episode. Claire saving the one who tried to kill her and saying La Dame Blanche, a white witch, gave the character to shine.

Outlander Season 2 Episode 7 Review

Last week we were saved as it was not revealed what exactly happened Fergus when he was left alone with Black Randall at La Mansion. But this episode makes it worse as it brings out the truth to Claire. Black Jack’s character was more like a cartoony villain as he is way more monster than a man.

Though the episode begins with Claire mourning for the baby, in the end, she shares her pain with Jamie. Louise’s appearance at the hospital is another heart touching scene in this episode as she was always shown as a very shallow person. Now that Claire and Jamie are back to normal, Jamie will freely go off to Scotland, and Claire may not be shown again. But anything can happen as Claire keeps reminding us the o move forward just like her to the future.
