Phantom 1st Week Collection: The latest film starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif has set Indian box office on fire. The drama has been fetching a good moolah continuously. Directed by Kabir Khan, Phantom six days total collection has been over Rs. 44.52 crores.

The film showed a bad opening on its first Friday but received a good opening weekend at the box office. Then, on the following weekdays, it fared well.

“#Phantom Fri 8.46 cr, Sat 12.78 cr, Sun 11.94 cr, Mon 4.40 cr, Tue 3.63 cr, Wed 3.31 cr. Total: ₹ 44.52 cr. India biz,” trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

As of now, it has broken the total / lifetime collection record of Roy starring Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. After six days box office collection of Phantom, it will soon break the lifetime record of Badlapur starring Varun Dhawan.

The latest film has been the most successful for Saif Ali in the recent times. It received positive reviews from both the critics and the audiences. Last film for Saif to cross Rs. 100 barrier was Race 2, a release of 2013. However, after that Saif’s films have failed undoubtedly.

While responding to the reporters about the film’s success, Saif said each and every crew member is happy with its success.

The 45-year-old actor said, “Considering the niche of the film, the collections and reviews are totally good. We are satisfied with what the film has received.”

Saif’s some of the last movies opened like this: Agent Vinod with Rs. 10 cr, Race – Rs. 14 crore, Happy Ending = Rs. 4 cr, Humshakals – Rs. 12 cr, Bullet Raja – Rs. 6 crores and then comes Phantom.

Meanwhile, the collection of Phantom dropped to Rs. 3.31 crore on its 6th day.

The latest venture of Kabir Khan fetched some good amount of money as it was a big release. Now, the scenario of this week is a little bit different. Welcome Back, a family comedy-drama, which will release on Friday which will eventually narrow down the Phantom collections.
