Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 4th Day Collection PKP2 1st Monday Box Office Report: The latest release Pyar Ka Panchnama directed by Luv Ranjan has set new milestones for it with its collections in the first weekend surprising everyone and crossing the businesses of movies this year with well-known star casts.

Pyar ka Punchnama 2 hit the box office with just 1400 screen across India on Oct. 16. It got a good occupancy of about 45% being not so well-known stars in the film. Moreover, it’s promotions weren’t done on a large scale.
On the first day, it collected over Rs. 6.80 crore, Rs. 7.60 crore on Saturday, and about Rs. 8 crore on 3rd day. It went on a winning streak in the first 3 days as has already collected Rs. 22.75 crore.
Hence, it broke the opening weekend record of Hero [Salman Khan’s production] which starred debutant lead pair Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. It collected Rs. 21.10 crore.
The sequel has earned twice the lifetimes collections of its prequel. The film has targetted youths and has connected very well with them. Moreover, the reviews and word of mouth have helped its business to grow.

On Monday, the film faced drop in its business because today is the working day for all. However, it was expected. Still, the movie is faring well in the theatres and connecting with the audiences. The word of mouth is working for it.

The film actually shows the other side of the relationship, i.e., what happens being in a relationship. It’s story is based on three friends who are troubled by the demands of their girlfriends. It stars Nushrat Bharucha, Sonali Sehgall, Ishita Sharma and Kartik Aryan along with two debutantes Sunny Singh and Omkar Kapoor replacing Raayo S Bakhirta and Divyendu Sharma.
