Sultan Box Office Collection 30th / 31st Day (30 / 31 Days) 5th Thursday / Friday Business and Occupancy Report: Sultan movie collections are on a run to break old records and set new benchmarks. It is setting such high milestones with a fast pace that some special film will be required to break its records. (read: Kabali collection.)

Any ordinary flick won’t be able to touch it. However, PK collection seems to be far from the reach of Salman’s latest talkie. PK had earned Rs. 340 cr which very far where the movie stands at present. But, Salman is likely to break the record of Aamir’s another, i.e., Dhoom 3. Let’s see where the 17 days run has taken the Sultan collection.

The latest venture of ‘Dabangg’ Khan is creating havoc at the worldwide box office and have been minting significant moolah till now since the release date. It has maintained an excellent pace in the second week too. However, fans are expecting it to do much more than what it has done yet.

The film is faring in its third week now. In the second week, it earned Rs. 48.80 crores. On the worldwide scale, it has reached the number 3 spot in the list of highest grossers of all times in Hindi cinema. There comes one interesting point in its 2nd week which can be considered a positive point. It is that earnings from the multiplexes are higher than earlier releases of Salman.

The newer releases of Bollywood like Great Grand Masti has got heavy disappointment as it failed to run correctly even in its first week. One of the main reasons for its failure can be considered as the leaking of the movie about ten days before its release date. GGM failed drastically on its opening day. However, it sustained a little well. But, it is now going to see curtains on its run very soon.

The directorial venture of Ali Abbas Zafar has already become an all time blockbuster hit at the BoxOffice. The film has shown extraordinary performance in Northern India and Rajasthan if the comparison is to be made with the rest of the India.

The new and upcoming releases for the weeks to come will decide the fate of Sultan collection. If screen count diminishes in the forthcoming weeks, then we can see it getting down soon. Salman Khan must be having a celebration time as his last three films have done a great business within a span of a year.

Now, it has got fascinating to see how it runs in its third week with Kabali and Madaari have released this Friday. Kabali will rule the South India while Madaari has also been promoted on a large scale but it lacks a very big appeal.

Kabali of Rajinikanth has done an earth shattering business in the USA and now it’s time for India. However, a good word of mouth will be required for its Hindi version to perform at the box office. But, Tamil and Telugu versions don’t need any word of mouth. People are going to watch it anyway.

So, this week can prove to be Sultan’s last one for collecting a good moolah.

  1. even an ordinary flick can get you 100 crs….as per recent trend…but it cannot get you AWARDS or ANY recogination……..after some time no one will remember any frame of Sultan …..SORRY …..

  2. Surpassing 350 crores for sure. Seeing it’s craze in public and mouth to mouth publicity.

  3. Difficult to cross 300 crore India net.May be like Ek tha tiger 198 crore , Sultan may settle between 295 to 298 bracket. Will be glad if it can overcome 300 mark.
