Maverick Director SS Rajamouli has worked hard and climbed great heights and made his place prominent in the history of Indian cinema. After scoring 9 massive back to back hits in his career, he has worked for three years for his magnum opus Baahubali: The Beginning which released in July this year. The movie emerged as the biggest hit in South Indian cinema and the movie made its place as the third highest grosser among the Indian films. Rajamouli made Telugu cinema proud and he has been flown with lot of praises from all over the world.
Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka and Tamannah played the lead roles in the movie and Ramya Krishna, Satyaraj, Adivi Sesh, Nassar played the other prominent roles in the film. MM Keeravani composed the music and Shobu Yarlagadda, Prasad Devineni produced Baahubali: The Beginning on Arka Media Works banner. Made on a budget of Rs 180 crores, the movie collected Rs 600 crores in all the languages across the world. Baahubali: The Beginning released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages in many countries and it has been screened in various International film festivals.
Rajamouli announced the second part of the movie prior to the release of the first part and the movie has been titled as Baahubali: The Conclusion. The movie has completed 40% of its shoot some time ago and Rajamouli is currently busy building huge sets for the film. The war episodes along with Anushka’s character are said to be the highlights of the movie. Baahubali: The Conclusion will have Prabhas, Rana, Anushka and Tamannah in the lead roles in the film and the regular shoot of the movie will start in the last week of December.
Rajamouli also revealed that Baahubali: The Conclusion will not release in 2016 and the film will complete all the formalities and will hit the screens in 2017. The expectations are huge on the movie and the makers are taking extra care on the second part. There are lot of rumors that the movie will have its third instalment soon. During a recent media interaction, Rajamouli and his father V Vijayendra Prasad revealed that the movie will have many more instalments and Baahubali will not end soon. Vijayendra Prasad said “There’s lot to create with Baahubali and it will not end soon. We are working on the concepts and will announce about the future parts very soon.
Rajamouli even said “The discussions are in initial stages and its early to reveal things. But I will tell all the news about the next parts as soon as I get clarity. At present my focus is completely on the second part for which we added a series of war episodes. But we did not make any changes in the script and we have just given a look after the stupendous success of the first instalment”.
