Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 22nd August 2016: Akshara asked Rama not to hurry up for Gayu’s marriage. Rama got angry and said that she was her mami and not mom. Akshara was hurt by that but thought that she would not let Gayu’s life get spoiled. (check: YRKKH Last Episode.)
Naira praised Vivan. Kartik felt jealous of Vivan. Vivan told Gayu that they should move to next step after friendship. Gayu was shocked. She then thought that he was talking about Esha. Vivan tried to explain her, truth but Gayu didn’t understand. Akshara noticed that Gayu did not understand Vivan. She got sure that Gayu had no feelings for Vivan.

Vivan said that Gayu didn’t understand what he meant. Naira heard him. She thought to do something as she thought Akshara was worried because Gayu did not understand Vivan’s feeling.
Varsha and everyone tried to ask Nunnu if he was in any problem. He denied and said he would go from there if his life would not be private. He did not want anyone to spy on him.
Vivan told Rama that Gayu did not understand his feelings. Rama asked him to be patient. Naira asked Rama that Gayu was ready, and they should not force her. Rama said that she would understand everything gradually.
Rajshri told Varsha that Nunnu might leave home in anger if they tried again to ask him anything. Rajshri thought that Nunnu grew abroad, and that might be the reason he wanted everything private. They thought what Jasmeet and Sunaina would think if Nunn left home. They decided not to say anything to him.
Akshara had to go for some important work. Naira got sad. Kartik looked at her.
She waited for Akshara’s call. Kartik got a call and replied that he was coming but as soon as he tried to get up, he started feeling dizzy. Naira got worried for him. Naksh came there and asked if he was okay. Naira asked that he was feeling dizzy and could not go to office in that condition. Kartik said that he had to go to office as he had to meet some important clients. Bau Ji denied and said he could not go. He asked him to have rest and said that someone else would go in his place.

Mishti thought that Kartik had a good mind as even he too did not wish to go anywhere leaving Naira. She smiled looking at Kartik.
Naira was very sad as she was missing Akshara a lot. Bhabhi Maa went to her and hugged her and said that Akshara would come back in 2 days.
