Ben Winters, a dentist, will be the show’s star when it premiered on NBC on Tuesday, May 31. The 32-year-old is the founder and CEO of his own dental care company known as “TheBentist.”
It will take place for the next eight weeks with 96 contestants. The competitors will have to complete complex dance routines from judge Shakira and perform in front of a live audience in a limited time.

The 32-year-old was born in Plano, Texas. From age 13, he wanted to work in the field of oral care. Ben Writers is a well-known orthodontist who works for Wincrest Orthodontics. Writers have chronicled his path from undergraduate student to dentist on its website.
