Johnny Depp coined the word Mollusk for Elon Musk because he allegedly had a relationship with Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard. However, the Tesla proprietor declined Depp’s claim of being in a relationship with the Aquaman actress while she was married to The Pirates of the Caribbean star.
It was not so much a great time for Elon Musk either. Around that time, he was accused of sexually harassing a SpaceX flight attendant. He was seen courting Amber Heard and finalizing his own divorce at the time. Reportedly, he has followed Heard since 2012.

Johnny nicknamed Elon Musk as Mollusk. According to Britannica.com, Mollusks are soft-bodied invertebrates of the phylum Mollusca, usually wholly or partly enclosed in a calcium carbonate shell secreted by a soft mantle covering the body.
Depp did so because Musk has a relationship with Amber Heard. She came across Musk at the 2016 Met Gala event. Later on, Musk and Heard dated each other. According to Heard, Depp didn’t turn up for the event on May 7 in Manhattan. Two weeks later, a violent wrestle broke out between the couple ending their relationship.
Johnny Depp has now sued Amber Heard for a $50 million defamation trial claiming that she destroyed his reputation and career by making false domestic violence charges in her divorce settlement. Basically, it’s about an op-ed article that Heard wrote in The Washington Post in 2016.
In response, Amber Heard has countersued Johnny Depp for a $100 million defamation. Since the beginning of their divorce, Heard has claimed to be a victim of domestic violence in which she was alleged physically and sexually assaulted.

Amber Heard’s Affair and Relationship Allegations
Amber Heard was romantically connected with photographer Tasya van Ree from 2008 to 2012. The romance was so intense that Heard had legally changed her last name to Van Ree during their courtship. Heard was arrested for domestic violence against the photographer in 2009. It happened at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Later on, the couple split in 2012, and she reverted back to Heard in 2014.

On Wednesday, May 25, 2022, Johnny Depp came inside the witness box and denied Amber Heard’s claims of him being abusive during their relationship. He called her testimony and defamation case crazy and awful.
The insane courtroom battle is ongoing and expected to be done on Friday. It has entered its sixth and final week. Initially, it was expected to be done by May 19, but the fight continues as both sides continue to bring their rebuttal witnesses.
