“We have a good coach as Brad Hodge from Australia as he has done really well for the Australian team and in the IPL. We have a right mix of young and experienced players. We are looking forward for the match.
“Captain means a lot, but good coaches and good players mean everything. We need to go out on the ground and play the game while enjoying it. IPL is the same platform.”
In the last seasons, the KXIP team wasn’t able to do much and didn’t perform well and ended at the last position in the IPL 8 points table. With David Miller as the new captain, the Punjab side would look forward to reaching new heights with the talent which they have.
KXIP will depend on Marsh, Vohra, and Vijay and whoever plays at the top should be able to give a better start to the middle order and thus for the team. It will prove to be a solid start. In the bowling lineup, they have Glenn Maxwell, and Miller to provide support from the bowling end and in the final overs. Johnson and Sharma will lead the bowling end, but the position of the team will depend on its batting.
