While other companies pay somehow to cover up the cost of travel to their fans who come to attend their launch events, but Xiaomi doesn’t do such thing. What it hints is the loyal fan following which the brand has managed to garner in just a period of two years. Apart from the product launch, the fans will get to see Hugo Barra, the global Vice President who got lured towards Xiaomi from Google.
Barra is famous among fans and people love to leave notes for him on social media. Keeping it in mind, he not only replies personally but sometimes reply with handwritten notes. Today’s event will see another event especially for fans.
Xiaomi is not new for hosting such events. Last year, when the company launched Mi 4i, the event took place in Delhi’ Siri Fort Auditorium which attracted about a thousand fans. In 2015, while launching MIUI 7, Barra copied SRK.
There will be a free bag as a gift for the first 1000 attendees. It all shows that Barra is keeping every possible point to promote the brand.
Redmi Note 3 has already been launched in China in 2015. However, this year in India, Xiaomi is launching its new version with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor. It comes in two versions – one with 16GB internal memory which sports 2GB RAM and 4,000 mAh battery and the other with 32 GB internal memory which has 3GB RAM and 4,050 mAh battery.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 specifications include a 5.5-inch 1080p display screen. It sports a hybrid SIM card slot and comes with a 16 MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing camera. It operates on MIUI 7. On connectivity, it features 4G LTE support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. It will also have a fingerprint sensor and is expected to come at a price tag of Rs. 15,000 ($222). It will be sold exclusively on Amazon India.
