The episode begins with a little recap of the last episode, where Sooraj returns papers to Lalima and says she is not alone, he can help her on her father’s shop. Lalima goes and Sandhya smiles and holds the umbrella for Sooraj. Bhabho looks on and Lalima thinks that Sandhya’s happiness will not last long. Sandhya goes to Sooraj and thanks him for showing his support. They complete making the jalebi’s and it to Babasa and Bhabho.
Diya Aur Baati Hum 28th October 2015
Bhabho cries after eating the sweets and Sandhya recalls Sooraj ji’s promise and looks Pari crying. She goes to her and asks her why is she crying? Pari says she has failed by work and she will not be getting any scholarship now for the seat in a medical institute. Sandhya says not to worry and says he will pay her fees. But Pari says they will not accept it. Sandhya says she will get her admission done. Pari thanks her and leaves. Lalima hears this and thinks how can he do this? She is trying now to win Bhabho’s heart with this kid. Bhabho gets a proud feeling looking at Sooraj getting applauded by people around. She says she wants to see him progress and hopes for a better future. Babasa agrees with her. Sandhya talks to the medical institute lady and convinces her for a seat to Pari. She thanks her for giving Pari a seat. Sooraj comes to the room and is tried. Sandhya asks him to roll the mattresses.
Diya Aur Baati Hum 28th October 2015Sooraj asks her to do and they both fall on Mattresses. Dia Aur Bati plays and is eyes are locked. Lalima knocks the door and says it’s time for Sooraj’s medicines. Sandhya says Sooraj has already taken them and says her that she will take care of Sooraj’s medicines from now on. Sandhya boils the water with some leaves in it and says to Sooraj that she will give this to bhabho in the morning and places it in the washroom. Babasa sees the water. (see: Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.)
Sandhya asks Babasa that Bhabho is having knee pain and the pain will fly away if she washes with this water. Babasa silently leaves. In the morning, Lalima says she will apply oil to Bhabho’s knees and Bhabho says no need. She says water wasn’t cool today. Sooraj and Sandhya look on. Sooraj takes her blessings and leave. A courier arrives and Babsa calls out for Pari.
Diya Aur Baati Hum 28th October 2015Emily reads the letter and congratulates Pari for getting a free seat in a medical institute. Pari looks at Sandhya and thanks her. Emily says thank god, now I don’t have to ask Mohit. Bhabho prays lord and feels happy for her. Mohit jokes on Meenakshi that her kids will manage the saree shop and we will have a doctor in our house. Lalima thinks that it is the right chance to makes Sandhya fall on everyone’s feet.
Meenakshi goes to the kitchen and fumes at Mohit joking at her. Lalima follows her and says Sandhya has a big heart as she always thinks of others. Meenakshi doesn’t gets her and asks what. Lalima says she thought she might have known it. She says Pari didn’t get the scholarship in the medical institute. It was Sandhya’s doing. Meenakshi says thank you for letting me know.
Lalima smiles evilly. Meenakshi distributes sweets to all and asks Mohit to look for her name in the scholarship list. Mohit looks at it and doesn;t find her name. He says how can this happen? Meenakshi says Pari didn’t get a seat. It was Sandhya who made it look like she has got it. It was all Sandhya’s doing and everyone looks at her.
