2018 Hyundai Santro Launch Live Streaming: here’s how you can watch the launching event in India online and get the live updates on the go. The iconic Hyundai Santro is going to be launched in a matter of minutes now. It is coming back from a brief hiatus from January 2015. Price will be revealed today.
When Santro was originally launched in India, it set the milestone for the company, Hyundai. It became a runaway success in a small amount of time. All credit goes to its room proportion tall-boy design, frugality, and affordability. It became the car of the new millennium and remained one of India’s most selling cars for most of the decade.

It was only after 2010 when a new array of small cars launched and made Santro’s journey slow. Then, Hyundai started preparing for its new run in early 2015. Ever since the company was busy in the making of all-new Santro and now, the day has arrived when it will debut based on a new platform with more space.
To mark its arrival, the Santro will come with many new features, not just exteriors. It includes a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a reverse camera, steering mounted audio controls, rear AC vents, and parking sensors. ABS with EBD come as standard and driver airbag. The top variant features dual airbags.
Under the hood, the new Santro 2018 features a 1.1-litre Epsilon motor that produces 69hp and 99Nm of torque. It will also come with a factory fitted CNG option with a lower down 58hp and 84Nm output. The engine is mated with a 5-speed manual as standard with the option of 5-speed AMT variant.
Prices for different variants of Santro will be announced today. We expect it to be between Rs. 3.4 lakh to Rs. 5.5 lakh ex-showroom to aggressively priced it. To spike the sales, the company will introduce an offer to the first 50,000 customers. Considering the built hype, the bookings should skyrocket.
