After reaching a stable height, he has stepped out to politics which made him far from films. He did not get satisfactory results in politics which made him look back towards cinema. He is in plans to make his comeback to Tollywood however the script of the film has not been finalized. Though he heard a number of scripts, none of them impressed Megastar to step ahead. Even directors like Puri Jagannadh and VV Vinayak narrated scripts that failed to impress him.

Young Tiger NTR is currently shooting for his new movie Nannaku Prematho and Sukumar is directing this project. With nothing great going in his career, NTR is in plans to bounce back with a massive hit as he failed to touch Rs 50 crore mark with his films.
Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead in Nannaku Prematho which will hit the screens early next year. BVSN Prasad is producing the movie and Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. With a number of offers flown, NTR has not signed his next movie.
Thala Ajith scored a massive hit with Vedalam which released during Diwali. Shiva directed the movie and Sruthi Haasan played the female lead in the movie. Vedalam is a sensational hit all over and the movie collected Rs 45 crores in its first week which attracted the Telugu heroes.
Now NTR and Chiranjeevi have been showing interest in the Telugu remake of the movie. NTR stepped ahead and he watched the movie in a special screening recently. He was quite delighted with the film. Chiranjeevi will watch Vedalam in this week and will take a call.
